In the Parish please pray for:

  • Our journey with PMC; that more of the congregation will become involved and that the process will help us as a church move forward in our ministry and mission. May we all learn to notice more of God at work in us and in our community.
  • Our links with local children and young people; that the contacts we already have through schools, youth group and toddlers, will grow and develop into fruitful relationships.
  • All those who came to services throughout Advent and Christmas and that their faith will deepen as a result.
  • Our financial situation. We ask for God’s guidance on how best to increase our commitment to giving and our enthusiasm for working out new ways of increasing our income, so that we can meet all our financial commitments including the funding of new windows, extending our outreach and fulfilling our commitment to the ministry and mission of the Deanery and Diocese.

In the Deanery please pray for:

    • The Clergy Chapter Meeting on 8th January and for the conversations which will take place there.
    • For all our Churches: for those who attend regularly and for those who come occasionally that we will all grow in faith.
    • All Saints Wokingham: Give thanks for the children who were admitted to Holy Communion at Christmas and pray for their growth in faith.
    • St John the Baptist Crowthorne: Messy Christingle 12th January and Epiphany Christingle Service 13th January
    • Continue to pray for The Bracknell Night Shelter. For those who use the facilities, that it will give them hope and practical support and for the Churches and volunteers who finance it.

In our Country please pray for:

  • Parliament and Brexit: all who have responsibility for the negotiations and whatever the outcome that peace and harmony will prevail.
