  • Work with children and families as well as young people, now we have no youth worker.
  • For more volunteers to come forward to take on various roles within our church family: tech support, musicians, churchwardens.
  • For the pastoral re-organisation of our benefice.

  • Prayers for the ongoing legal process associated with the separation of the benefice.

In the Deanery, please pray for:

  • Piers Bickersteth as he retires after so many years at Arborfield, Barkham, Christ Church and the Church on the Green.
  • All those dealing with illness at the moment within the leadership of our Churches, lay and ordained, for themselves and those they are close to.
  • Parishes in vacancy and preparing for a vacancy, especially for those who, while already busy, are responding to God’s call to lead.
  • All Saints, Wokingham advertising the vacant Rector position throughout February and for resolution of the ongoing snagging issues following our renovation work to make the church more of a spaceforall.
  • All our Churches as we prepare to observe Lent.

In the World, please pray for:

  • Resolution to the many conflicts continuing around the world.
  • That money raised in our Churches for relief work may reach the places of need and be used for the benefit of those suffering.

In the face of Jesus Christ,
your light and glory have blazed forth,

O God of all the nations;
with all your people,
may we make known your grace,
and walk in the ways of peace;
